Effective Use of the Interactive Whiteboard
Successful use of the interactive whiteboard is instrumental in creating motivating and engaging lessons. Using the Promethean whiteboard software, teachers will learn how to make the most of their classroom whiteboard to create engaging, interactive multimedia lessons in simple and time-efficient ways. Attendees will create their own flipcharts, and have access to a huge range of free materials.
Ahead of the session, what would be incredibly useful, is to make sure you have access to ActivInspire software. If you are working from home, you will need to try to have this on your own device.
The home version of ActivInspire (free) is limited. Schools will have a license code they can give to individuals for their home computers (a good thing to have in general). If you are not able to have access to this, the course will still be useful as Ben will be sharing his screen.
*Please note this course is for teachers who use the Promethean software ActivInspire in either Activstudio or Activprimary mode.
