Led by an experienced Head using a group coaching approach to leadership development. This group’s themes are set by the participants so current issues and challenges can be addressed. Each half term we decide on the focus that will be most meaningful. After a brief look at the research we share our experiences so far and what we learnt in terms of leadership from similar experiences.
Through group coaching we decide the best way forward to tackle the challenge should we face it again. Leaders leave the session knowing their own leadership strengths with clear next steps and feel more empowered to face the common challenges all school leaders face.
These sessions would suit any reflective leader working in a school at any leadership level but is most suited to phase leads, department heads, heads of Key Stage, Assistant Heads and Deputies.
