Development of Outstanding Maths Subject Leadership
This one day course will offer support and inspiration to teachers who are moving to the next stage of their career as a subject leader in mathematics.
Leading a core subject is a huge responsibility. This course will support maths subject leaders in fulfilling the role in the their schools. Participants will develop their confidence and skills required to effectively lead mathematics within their school. The practical course will help with leadership practice, identifying areas for development within mathematics provision, planning and delivering staff training, observing and coaching, and practice for reporting to others.

Managing rolling out mastery within school and the challenges that brings
Observing colleagues
Team teaching
Lesson Feedback

Developing calculation and marking policies
